Another Arizona startup is trading the traditional tech hub of Scottsdale for the rising downtown Phoenix. This time it’s Integrate, a cloud marketing software and service startup in need of space to grow. Following negotiations and a seven-month, creative build out, Integrate moved 92 employees to the 19th floor “penthouse” in a neighborhood they least expected.
Their new space occupies 14,000 square feet at 111 W. Monroe St. in the heart of downtown. A wide-open floor plate mixes mid-century interiors with modern touches that include 14-foot open ceilings, unobstructed collaborative spaces, and open north-south skyline views.
The adaptable, open floorplate was one of the biggest attractions for their transparent culture. With zero private offices and glass-walled conference rooms, they enjoy direct line-of-sight from one end of the office to the other.
When Integrate started looking for space, downtown wasn’t even a consideration. Like a lot of tech companies in the area, they had originally confined their sights to local tech meccas like downtown Tempe and Old Town Scottsdale. Ultimately, the live-work-play atmosphere of downtown Phoenix won the team over. Integrate joins a number of high-profile tech tenants, including Solera Health, Fin Exploration Company, Gainsight, Orb Health, and Allbound in the same building, which boasts a 96-point walkability score.
Right next door sits a yoga studio, free common area WiFi and a mobile app/text valet service. And with the revitalization of downtown, the area is chock full of amenities including restaurants, retailers, entertainment, museums, other major office buildings, and the Light Rail for easy transit.
